Every member of my dad’s hospice team was outstanding. His CNA, was especially amazing. Not only did she take great care of my dad, she also provided support to my mom who was going through a hard time.

Our experience with hospice was excellent. The patient was nervous about being put into hospice but each person who helped us along this journey dispelled these fears for him and gave him great comfort when he needed it most. As a family, we are eternally thankful for our loved one’s hospice care.

I called your hospice the waiting room to heaven! Everyone was attentive and polite. The facility was outstanding, with endless kitchen access and the beautiful grounds to meditate while walking around the lake! At the end when I could not take care of her at home, your people got her in! Thank you for being there in our time of need and allowing us into the Lightways home.
My husband wanted to not go to the hospital as his cancer got worse. I was able to keep him at home. Thanks to hospice. I was able to rely on hospice for information, care supplies, and equipment needed.
All staff members were exceptional in their skills and compassion. The facility was exceptional. We were so thankful that our sister was able to spend her final days there with such kind and caring people.

Thank You, Lightways. A Lightways of Joliet team has been checking up on both my mother and myself nearly daily. Everyone has been so helpful and compassionate— your efforts are very appreciated. Already this morning I was on the phone for nearly an hour with a Lightways social worker— it’s so good to have someone to talk to about our challenges and concerns. As you know, there’s a whole emotional component to aging and caring for someone– it’s good to know there is a hospice team to listen to us, and to help navigate us through this (very) difficult time of life. The past few days have been holding steady– no changes in my mother (who I care for). If there are any noticeable changes– big or small– I will definitely reach out to Lightways of Joliet for help.
