Engraved Bricks: A Beautiful Way to Pay Tribute

Customized Paving Bricks

Our beautiful grounds are enhanced with customized paving bricks which tell wonderful stories of those who have died. Many of the bricks are around our beautiful pond outside Lightways inpatient unit.

We offer three different paver bricks:

4 x 8 bricks in the path around the pond

• Each brick has room for 3 lines of engraving.
• Each line of engraving can include up to 16 characters, spaces, numbers and/or punctuation.
• $150 donation.

8 x 8 pavers on the front patio

• Each brick has room for 6 lines of engraving.
• Each line of engraving can include up to 20 characters, spaces, numbers and/or punctuation.
• $300 donation.

Pavers in the Veterans Memorial Garden

Our Veterans Memorial Garden is just to the south of the main entrance of our Joliet facility. Created in 2017, the area honors living and deceased veterans. Limited pavers are available for personalization.

• The 16 x 8 pavers can be engraved with 6 lines of text with 26 characters per line. The suggested donation is $350.
• The 16 x 16 pavers accommodate up to 12 lines of text with 26 characters per line. The suggested donation is $500.

Orders are submitted to the engravers several times a year and installed when weather permits. Donors will receive written notice when bricks are installed with details on the brick’s placement.
