Our first experience with hospice. They made the process very smooth. The counseling that is offered to the family is wonderful! The Chaplin was amazing. He performed our funeral services.

First of all, the nurse who came to my mom’s house could not have been any kinder or compassionate. She was always available for both my mom and myself. This was a very unexpected health crisis for us. When it was determined that hospice was the next step, I never thought it would have been such a positive experience. My father died with grace and dignity, without pain. Our family would like to thank all involved. Everyone we dealt with was an ultimate and compassionate professional.

The person who came to bathe her was so great with my sister. Took the time to answer questions. Music therapy was here on a day my sister was alert and she sang. My sister loved it! It lightened the mood for all of us. Staff did not rush the visits or were never short with answers. You all helped us have a wonderful experience. Being able to grant my sisters wishes. Thanks!
Every member of my dad’s hospice team was outstanding. His CNA, was especially amazing. Not only did she take great care of my dad, she also provided support to my mom who was going through a hard time.

Thank every single person for the care and support I received from Lightways. From the greetings at the front desk to the nursing staff, housekeeping and support staff. The grounds are so soothing and well kept. The aviary was amazing. God bless all of you.

Lightways Hospice was a wonderful experience for all of us. They felt like family. We were offered music therapy, chaplain services in addition to the physical care. Her aide was outstanding and so kind. I felt supported and listened to, and was able to stay in her home except for a very short stay in Lightways facility to get control of her pain. They were wonderful. 10/10.
Lightways was the answer to my prayers at a time when I needed help. As a man and husband, I think I can fix and handle things at the most difficult times, for my spouse. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found a place & staff that truly loved, cared, & supported my wife and me during a most difficult time in both our lives. Our home visiting nurse was always checking in. She told us what to expect and kept us informed on changes and adjustments to care and meds.
Every person who called or came to our home was courteous kind and extremely helpful. We didn’t know much about actual hospice care and we were amazed at how much care and support they provided. Lightways hospice took beautiful care of my husband and helped my entire family be at ease and guided us through his journey as he lived the last two weeks of his life, we are ever grateful!
Everybody was very nice, informative and very helpful. The communication was great. They always kept me up to date on my father’s care. They were able to listen to me, and answered all of my questions.
I just can’t say enough great things about hospice care. The facility is very hospitable allowing family members to spend time with the patient and quiet time with each other.
Every member of your staff brought gentle and peaceful care to my mom. The facility itself is peaceful and provided meals, snacks and drinks for the family. The setting and natural surroundings is beautiful. No questions or concerns seemed unimportant for your staff. Family members and friends, elderly to young children were welcomed. Thank you!
Lightways is truly the Gold Standard for hospice care. Every person we interacted with was excellent, even the equipment delivery people. At the end, the music therapy was very comforting. Lights of Love event was so wonderful. Kudos to our nurse and CNA. They were both wonderful!

Our experience with hospice was excellent. The patient was nervous about being put into hospice but each person who helped us along this journey dispelled these fears for him and gave him great comfort when he needed it most. As a family, we are eternally thankful for our loved one’s hospice care.

I called your hospice the waiting room to heaven! Everyone was attentive and polite. The facility was outstanding, with endless kitchen access and the beautiful grounds to meditate while walking around the lake! The total care patient/family far exceeded anything I expected. Kori Schmidt, our nurse, was outstanding, she explained everything thoroughly and gave our loved one care with compassion. Vicky, our CNA, arrived cheerfully and delivered exceptional care to my husband, with dignity. Meds, equipment were delivered punctually.
Our experience was wonderful in a very difficult and sad situation as my husband declined quickly with his end stage Alzheimer’s. He was treated with the utmost compassion and care. Everyone was amazing. The music therapist could not have been more helpful. Everyone to me, is considered an angel on earth for what they do making this journey as painless as it can be. My amazing husband received the excellent care he deserved. He served in the Army and in Vietnam. The loss and void that I feel is huge. I would like to thank our nurses, social workers, and chaplain. Thank you!
The service that my mother received was top notch. Weekly calls from the nurse was the best. Knowing exactly what mom was doing or not doing helped us figure out how to help mom. Thank you to all of you for what you do!
