Joining Kelly Corrigan for this important discussion on hospice and caregiving are Patrice Martin, Director of Grief Support, and Laura Supanavongs, Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Practice, both of Lightways Hospice, each bringing extensive experience in supporting individuals and families through challenging life transitions.
Patrice Martin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is the Director of Grief Support at Lightways. With a background in foster care and hospice social work, Patrice brings extensive experience in individualized care and team-based support for those experiencing loss. Inspired by her family’s experience with grief during the Vietnam War, she is passionate about providing free grief support services to the community.
Laura Supanavongs is the Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Practice at Lightways Hospice. With a background in nursing, including medical-surgical, ICU, home health, and nine years in hospice, Laura is passionate about holistic patient care. She returned to Lightways in 2024 after a brief period at an assisted living facility and is currently completing her master’s in nursing at the University of St. Francis.
