Family Fun Run/5k

This year’s Family Fun Run/5k was held on June 1, 2024 at the New Lenox Village Commons, organized by Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care to raise funds for its Pediatric Care Program, was a resounding success.

With over 200 registrations, the event saw 70 enthusiastic runners participating despite the cold and rainy conditions. The run aimed to support the organization’s mission of providing compassionate care to children with serious or terminal illnesses.

The funds raised will go directly towards enhancing pediatric care services, ensuring that families receive the support they need during difficult times. The event brought together the community in a fun, active way, raising awareness and making a significant impact on the lives of children and their families in our care.
