Campaign for The Hospice Home
Joliet Area Community Hospice is currently engaged in a Capital Campaign to enhance the patient and family experience of our hospice home inpatient unit at 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, by creating a more healing environment for all. Every aspect of our twelve room addition and renovation/enhancement plans center around the goal of maintaining a dignified and comfortable quality of life by creating as many of the comforts of home as possible.
With an outpouring of support from the community, the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home inpatient unit was dedicated in late 2002 and opened/admitted its first patient in May of 2004. Thousands of patients, families, and friends have walked the halls, embraced loved ones nearing the end of their journey, and found comfort and compassion in the surroundings of our Hospice Home. It truly serves as a home away from home for those families and hospice patients whose management of pain and symptoms cannot be controlled in the at-home setting.
This is your opportunity to help lead the way on this transformational project! Donations can be directed towards our Remembering from the Heart Campaign using the link below and three-year pledges and more information are available by calling the Development Office at 815-531-3553.
